Exile on a Grid Road
Exile on a Grid Road is the poetry of observation where all the senses are employed in the fullness of intimacy or the emptiness of solitude. Each poem becomes a single step in the process of discovery where what nourishes us unfolds subtly, while life in the work place or the mysteries of human love roar with overt distraction.
What the poems offer is this: Within the great arc of experience – the body’s susceptibility to disease, the casualties of love, and the implacability of nature – there is always time to ‘taste, devour, and sing’.
