We provide numerous opportunities for professional development throughout the year, including our annual conference in June, which features a number of sessions.
We host and co-ordinate individual half-day professional development sessions throughout the year. Each of these sessions focuses on a single issue about which our publishers have asked. The half-day sessions allow publishers to take the minimum amount of time away from their business, and allows us to feature speakers in both major cities, which cuts down on the amount of travel time our publishers need.
The annual conference in June features multiple sessions on a variety of topics requested by our members. Book publishers from British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan, and Manitoba meet at the June conference to discuss the state of publishing, and to work together and to network. If you are a book publisher, we invite you to join our illustrious ranks for professional development and great networking opportunities!
